On March 28, 2011, our Association, Vice President Liu Baolai, Guan Zihuai，Liu Yuanpei and Vice director Qiu Xiaojuan, conducted an in-depth discussions about the current situation and the future international exchange and cooperation in Middle East especially Gulf Countries.

    In discussing, Vice President Liu Baolai pointed out that “Despite the Gulf States there have been some changes in situation, but compared with the MENA region in the State, there is no fundamental changes have taken place, Royal regime is stability in the Gulf States, solidarity of the Government of the six Countries of the FGCCC, United States Government’s acquiescence in the support from Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., and Kuwait was invited to joint troops Bahrain can be seen.  In addition, From the Chinese Government or economic and trade cooperation with the Gulf States, the situation changes should usher in a business opportunities, because Saudi Arabia, Bahrain Kingdom, Oman, and Kuwait National has a very small number of demonstrations to protest, the main demand is to improve people's livelihood, housing and employment, therefore, it is also a rare opportunity for Chinese enterprises ". Vice President Guan Zihuai cheerfully agreed to Vice President Liu Baolai `s analysis, he pointed out that "if Chinese companies could grasp opportunities at this time, in place to expand the plan, it will be turning risk into opportunity, and making achievement of international cooperation that the normal time can not up to ". Vice President Liu Yuanpei pointed out that "under the current situation in Gulf states, we can plan accordingly, adjustment and develop the international exchange and cooperation".
